A Ministry for Ministry Leaders

Ginosko Leadership Ministries equips overstretched and under-resourced leaders and organizations to grow in strategic and operational excellence. We walk alongside leaders to strengthen their organizations while spurring them on toward deeper intimacy with and dependence on Christ—so they remain deeply rooted in Him in both identity and mission as they lead and serve others.

who We Are

Scott Grzesiak is a passionate follower of Jesus and serves as Executive Director of Ginosko Leadership Ministries, where he equips overstretched and under-resourced pastors, nonprofit leaders, and Christian organizations to flourish both operationally and spiritually. Through leadership coaching, organizational development, and life-on-life discipleship, he comes alongside leaders to build healthy, thriving organizations while calling them to deepen their intimacy with and dependence on Christ—so their identity is deeply rooted in Jesus as they lead and serve others.

Scott also serves as chaplain for the Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, discipling players, coaches, and staff through Bible study, pastoral care, and life-on-life discipleship.

A business leader and ministry entrepreneur, Scott brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across both the corporate and nonprofit worlds. Having grown up without a father in his home, he developed a lifelong passion for serving young people impacted by fatherlessness, trauma, and poverty through Christ-centered discipleship.

Before entering full-time ministry, Scott built a successful business career in Tokyo with Pasona Inc. before serving in sales, finance, and strategy leadership roles with E. & J. Gallo Winery, Shure Incorporated, and PepsiCo in the United States and Asia. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and East Asian Languages & Literature (Japanese) from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

In 1998, Scott had a life-changing encounter with Jesus that radically redirected the course of his life. Soon thereafter, he began mentoring youth in Chicago’s Cabrini-Green Housing Projects. In 1999, he co-founded the teen outreach ministry SLAM before leaving the business world to found GRIP Outreach For Youth in 2004. Built on Jesus’ model of life-on-life discipleship, Scott led GRIP for 17 years, growing it into an organization that served 500–600 youth annually, operated with a $2.0–2.4 million budget, employed 24 staff members, trained more than 300 volunteers, and cultivated a network of more than 1,600 financial partners.

While leading GRIP, Scott saw that literacy challenges kept many urban young people from engaging with the Word of God, and commissioned a gifted young visionary, Esteban Shedd, and a team of artists and leaders to launch the Streetlights Bible project—a groundbreaking audio/visual Bible set to hip-hop beats. What began as a ministry initiative has grown into an independent global ministry, making Scripture and Biblical teaching accessible through the Streetlights Bible App in multiple languages and reaching listeners around the world [Streetlights Bible].

Scott and his wife, Jennifer, have served as urban missionaries on Chicago’s West Side for more than 25 years while raising and homeschooling their five children. They are active members of Cross Culture Church and enjoy gathering family and friends together for food and fun.

Whether speaking at churches, conferences, retreats, or leadership gatherings, Scott draws from a unique blend of executive business experience, nonprofit leadership, and biblical wisdom to challenge and equip others to pursue Christ, strengthen their organizations, and leave a lasting Kingdom impact.
